When it comes to fitting, we believe the time-tested approach still works best. That's why we rely on the knowledge and experience of our staff to guide every decision.
We begin with measuring your foot with a Brannock device to determine your shoe size - the same trusted measuring tool since 1925.
From there, we assess your arches, ankles, and overall foot mechanics. If you've brought custom orthotics, braces, toe spacers, or have specific considerations, we take all of that into account to ensure the best possible fit.
This is one of the most important steps in the fitting process. Not all shoes are created the same, and we understand how each model is designed to perform. We'll have you do a easy down and back walk with a few natural strides without shoes to observe how you move and better guide your fit.
We'll narrow the selection to a handful styles we believe best match your needs.
From there, we'll help you try each pair on and ask for your feedback on fit and feel. We'll also watch how you walk in each option to determine which one performs best for you. If needed, we're always happy to bring out additional options.
